What is mandatory training?
In health and social care, mandatory training is often defined as the knowledge that is required for best practice in this sector. It refers to the compulsory training that is required for employees to carry out their duties safely and effectively. Many organisations deliver mandatory training as part of their routine induction training, then as required thereafter annually.

-How do I buy or book training through the Website?
Penwith Mandatory Training provide a tailored course to meet your requirements. This can be done through firstname.lastname@example.org or 01736331047. We are working on an online booking system for the near future.
-Is the training provided accredited and approved?
Yes Penwith Mandatory Training is accredited through the CPD (Continuing Professional Development).
All our Statutory and Mandatory Training courses meet the NHS and Care Quality Commission (CQC)
-Can I choose a specific trainer?
Once your course is booked an available Trainer will be allocated. You are welcomed to tell us your preferences and we will try our best to meet these. However we cannot guarantee a specific trainer.
-When will I receive my booking confirmation?
Once your training preferences are processed you will receive a confirmation booking email identifying all necessary information.
-Will I receive a reminder?
Yes you will receive a reminder email two weeks before the Training date.
-How long will I have to complete my workbook?
Only some of the Mandatory Training we provide requires a workbook completion prior to the Training date. You will be informed of this at the booking point. You will be given two weeks to complete this. If you are concerned about this, please don’t hesitate to contact email@example.com
-How much do the certificates cost?
The certificate is included in the cost of the Training course.
-When will I receive my certificate?
You will receive your Certificates of Achievement on the Training day, they are issued either as a hard copy or via email.
-Do I receive a discount for making a group or multiple bookings?
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org regarding any discounts that may be available for making multiple bookings.
-What happens if I need to cancel?
You can find the cancellation policy in the Terms and Conditions within the website policies.
customers are asked to liaise directly with email@example.com. All cancellations must be in writing and received 14 days before that start of the course. Cancellations after this date will be charged the full cost.
-Will I get a refund if the training is cancelled?
Penwith Mandatory Training will always do it’s upmost to provide another trainer in the event of a cancellation. A full refund of the course fee will be given if a Trainer is unable to attend training in the event of an emergency.
-How do I buy or book courses through the website?

-Is the mandatory training and the certification awarded acceptable for auditing and inspection with healthcare and social care frameworks?
Yes the training certificates have a 100% success rate when submitted to all agencies, NHS recruitment frameworks (LPP, THE, Talent HCM etc) NHS banks and NHS Trusts nationwide, as well as nursing care homes, residential homes and other social care providers. This means that no matter where you submit your certificate, it will always be accepted.
-Will the assessments commence on the day?
Yes the assessments will occur on the day and you will receive your results at the end of the training. Some training requires exams, you do NOT need to register for these as Penwith Mandatory Training will organise this.
-What happens if I fail?
In the unfortunate situation someone fails. Penwith Mandatory Training will work with you to remedy this. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or directly on 01736331047 if this should occur.
-If I am hosting training do I need to provide anything?
During the booking period the settings facilities will be identified. Penwith Mandatory Training will provide all course content.
-If the training is at a training centre will it have parking/ secure bike rack?
The location of the Training centre and the facilities will be provided in the booking confirmation email.
-Will lunch or refreshments be provided?
A tailored package can be organised during the booking. Otherwise lunch is not provided. However, refreshments are.
